Favourite Phone Tones...

04 May 2012 - 05:16 PM

I like making my phone have a theme for the noises it makes, including the 24 ringtone when anyone from work comes, or having all the sounds be from Zelda. As annoying as Navi is, "Hey, listen!" is what my phone says when I get a text message. My previous phone was based on a Mario theme and had a special Foamy The Squirrel ringtone too... and since getting my phone back from repairs I've been looking for Power Rangers tones since I heard a customer at work's phone suddenly beep as if Zordon was calling him.

What things have you based or would want to base your phone off? Here's a "roster" set for what my phone seems to be able to fit in...
  • Ringtone:
  • Alarm:
  • Notifications
    • Default
    • Text received:
    • Text sent:
    • Text failed:
    • Calendar Notification:
    • E-Mail (multiple):

Multi-Player... One Console...

30 November 2011 - 05:31 PM

Every time I try to come up with good games for the 360 that are multi-player I always seem to draw a blank when I get beyond sports or one-on-one fighting games. This is particularly true of co-op titles as the two Army of Two games and Splinter Cell Conviction seem to be the only ones besides Gears of War. It's not just restricted to shooters though, as many racing games, for example, are going down the one player path and multi-player being only online.
What other games are there, and are they any good?

I don't normally do this...

My first post here (I had a GR account though) and while I would have liked it to be on a main discussion forum I found myself asking how far back I can go in terms of "necroposting". I would have asked this in the help forum but it kind of looked like it was more a suggestions forum than for this kind of question...

I couldn't find a thread view option, so how far back can we go with our posting? I saw one from September that looked interesting but didn't click on it in case I wanted to answer.
